About Me

Since completing my BSc (Hons) in Psychology, I have been working in the entertainment industry for over two decades, representing a roster of successful creatives.  During that time, my own struggle with anxiety led me to return to my long held interest in psychology and, while embarking on my own therapy, I experienced the immensely positive impact of hypnotherapy and psychotherapy on my wellbeing. Juggling work and family life in a fast-paced world – particularly during the pandemic – left me feeling overwhelmed and exhausted, so returning to the books I read as a student reignited my love for the field of psychology. This helped me understand more about myself, where I was in life and where I wanted to be. Having volunteered with a mental health charity and supported friends and family through challenging times, it made me passionate about helping others to make the changes they want in their lives.

It was an easy and exciting decision to re-train and I qualified as a clinical hypnotherapist with additional psychotherapeutic training, studying at the renowned National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy. I’m registered as a Hypnotherapist with the CNHC, NCH, NSTT and the UKCP as a trainee psychotherapist, practising in accordance with their Code of Ethics and Professional Practice and am fully qualified to help with a wide range of issues, specialising particularly in anxiety related issues. I undertake regular supervision with an experienced hypno-psychotherapist, and complete my own regular psychotherapy.

As a therapist, I’m fascinated by how our mental and emotional states can have such an impact on our physical health and vice versa. It’s amazing to see how anxiety, stress and trauma can manifest in physical symptoms and how learning to be present in our bodies, through meditation, breathwork and movement can have such a positive impact on our mental health.

I truly believe that when we tune into the connection between mind and body we can unlock so much potential for growth and transformation. By working to cultivate a strong mind-body connection we can learn to listen to our bodies and our emotions in a whole new way and develop a deeper understanding of ourselves and our needs. It’s a journey I feel so grateful to be part of and I’m always inspired by the incredible transformations that I see in my clients.

I know how busy life can get, so offer appointments throughout the week, including early and late slots, both in person and online, depending on what suits you best.
